Manual Trigger

Overview

The Manual Trigger allows you to manually trigger a rule's execution. It is a valuable tool for managing resources across all platforms that helps you automate repetitive tasks and reduce manual intervention.

It is also useful for testing rules before they are activated, for running rules on an ad-hoc basis, and for giving team members with limited access to your cloud provider the ability to manage their own resources in a controlled way.

Use of this trigger in a rule

When a rule is created with a Manual Trigger, it can be executed manually by clicking the Run Now button on the rule index page.
